Clouds forecast here for first-ever Camelopardalids meteor shower ... of course

I long ago gave up expecting anything from meteor showers - too many nights spent with the kids lying in the grass, shivering, seeing little; or whipping up expectations only to have cloudy weather roll in. Disappointment is the meteorite norm, I've decided.
Still, the Camel-leopard-thingy shower that's will happen tonight sounds promising, although that may be because this is the first time it has been seen on Earth and so imaginations can run wild. I will feel guilty if I don't check it out, but it's raining here right now and clouds aren't supposed to part, so maybe I'll have a good excuse not to get up at 2 a.m.
If you are more adverturous, here's lots of information about the shower.
