Emerald ash borer found in eastern Massachusetts (sigh)

The emerald ash borer has been found in eastern Massachusetts - in North Andover, reports the Associated Press.

This isn't surprising, since most people expect it's only a matter of time before this far-flying, destructive pest invades most of North America's forests and wipes out our ash trees. But it's still a shame.

New Hampshire officials haven't found EAB outside the initial discovery site of Concord.
