High-Tech Product of Year: Streaming video, tamper-proof cargo container, network authentication or light-measurement software?

New Hampshire High-Tech Council has its annual Product of Year award ceremony/dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 12. You can still register to attend and help vote for a winner.
I wrote about a local contender (BurstPoint Networks and its streaming/recording cloud-based system for companies) in The Telegraph (here). but the other finalists are interesting, too:
- Granite State Manufacturing of Manchester, which developed a system to turn an intermodal cargo container – the huge metal boxes that are the backbone of global trade – into a tamper-proof system.
- Single Digits, of Manchester, which developed a network hub system called Open Network Exchange in which it acts as a neutral party to authenticate users, store credentials, set up policy and assign bandwidth, determine pricing and payment, track clicks, and allocate and distribute revenue.
- Labsphere, of North Sutton, which makes light measurement software using platform-independent HTML5.
These are just-starting start-ups, they're companies with real products and customers looking to move into the next phase of growth.
