Electric cars strut their stuff in Concord on Saturday for National Plug-In Day

Saturday is National Plug-In Day, which explains why there will be extension cords and electric vehicles galore in Concord.
The Concord event is one of 75 events exhibited in 35 cities. From 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the State House lawn there will be a display of electric vehicles (next to the Concord Farmers Market, if you're short of fresh corn and tomatoes). Electric cars like Chevy Volt (well, electric-ish), Nissan Leaf and Tesla S will be on display from local dealerships and car enthusiasts, with charging stations, fliers, electric bicycles, Segways and more.
The event is open and free to the public.
