State's first Maker Faire (in Dover on Aug. 24) is looking for volunteers

The state will have its first Maker Faire on Aug. 24 at the Children's Museum in Dover, sponsored by MakerBot and Make magazine (of course), Manchester's Dyn Inc. (which seems to be sponsoring everything cool these days) and some other groups. It's billed as a Mini Maker Faire, so don't expect a San Francisco-ish experience, but it's still a great idea.
THe UNH LunaCats, who built a moon-exploring robot for a NASA contest will be there, as will the TOOOL folks who teach lock-picking, and Seacoast Game Designers, who make tabletop (not computer) games. More details here.
Sign up to volunteer for a 2-4 hour shift and you get free admission, plus a Dover Mini Maker Faire t-shirt, the coin of the realm in geekdom.
