Mayor creates first pizza at new Bertucci’s Kitchen

NASHUA – Bertucci’s Kitchen celebrated its grand opening June 18, with a VIP reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mayor Donnalee Lozeau donned chef whites and played pizza chef for the evening, creating her favorite pizza; mushroom and onion. Mayor Lozeau, Bertucci’s Kitchen General Manager Aggy Gukasyan, and Bertucci’s CEO Bill Freeman christened the Brick Oven with Mayor Lozeau’s pizza.

Bertucci’s has been a member of the Nashua community since 1990. Bertucci’s Kitchen, a fresh new take on Bertucci’s, is now open to the public. Guests will enjoy the same food – but for the first time, the creation of each dish will be on display for everyone to see. The new open “theater”-style kitchen allows guests to view pizza chefs tossing dough, pasta chefs preparing pasta dishes, and other engaging visuals. Bertucci’s Kitchen is at 406 Amherst St. and is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 11 a.m-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
