Sizzling summer fun in August

Don’t let the title fool you; the Nashua Public Library offers so much more than books. They offer free classes, concerts and tournaments. This month, be entertained by the Nick Goumas Jazz Quintet from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7. Or if you prefer high-level adventure involving mad wizards and a cursed castle, be sure to join the Dungeons & Dragons Tournament from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. Minimum experience in playing D&D required. This is a free event that includes a free pizza lunch but registration is required. Enjoy a night of music, food and fun at the Downtown Music Festival from 6-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Entrain and Hot Like Fire will entertain you while you visit the beer and food vendors.
