Concerts on tap at Rodgers Memorial Library
HUDSON – The Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson recently announced a pair of upcoming events.
The DCU Free Concert Series, featuring the traditional Irish music of Oran Mor, is set for 2 p.m. March 10. Mor will perform with Dave Hallowell and Peter Hale. The snow date is March 11.
The concert series, which is the second Saturday of each month, is made possible by a grant from Digital Credit Union.
The award-winning Lithuanian ensemble Tutto a Dio will present a concert at 3 p.m. on March 17 at the library. The unusual combination of instruments in “Tutto a Dio”, consisting of viola and accordion, is unique in Lithuania, in fact, it is likely to be one of the most uncommon ensembles in the world. They are joined on their current tour by a vocalist. Their repertoire consists of many different genres from baroque, classical to modern compositions. This program is made possible by a grant from the Charles Zylonis Trust.The Rodgers Memorial Library is located at 194 Derry Road in Hudson.
