Federal Offices

One of the state's two U.S. Senate seats is up this year, with incumbent Judd Gregg not running. Republican Kelly Ayotte is facing Congressman Paul Hodes, a Democrat. Libertarian Ken Blevens and independent Chris Booth are also on the ballot. In the 2nd Congressional District, which covers Hillsborough County plus points west and north, Republican Charlie Bass faces Democrat Ann McLane Kuster. Libertarian Howard Wilson and independent Tim vanBlommesteyn are also running. In the 1st District, which covers southeast New Hampshire, incumbent Democrat Carol Shea-Porter faces Republican Frank Guinta. Independent Philip Hodson is also running.
