ENCORE SUPERSTAR: TUESDAYS FEBRUARY 16, 23
AND MARCH 2, 9; FRIDAY, MARCH 26, 2010

Encore Superstar is a karaoke-style singing competition and the 2009 winner, Bobby Baker, walked away with the coveted Superstar title, a cover story in Encore, $500 and a professional head shot taken by Milford photographer Walter Schnecker. We've uped the prize money this year and this year's prizes are bigger and better than ever. The 2010 Encore Superstar will win a $1,000 cash prize, the chance to sing a a 2010 Fisher Cats game and the cover story in Encore.

Our judges will pick the top four singers from each preliminary performance to compete and sing for the coveted title at the finals. Proceeds from tickets sales from the final event with benefit the Peacock Players of Nashua, NH.

We're celebrating women and want you to to join us for an evening of fun and entertainment. We want you to let loose, learn something new, win great prizes, and indulge in delicious food and drink. We’ll have exhibitors, vendors, speakers and demonstrators talking about all of the things you love and are interested in: salons and beauty products, health and fitness, apparel and fashion, unique gifts, education and finance, technology, and much more. Plus, don't miss our fashion show featuring downtown Nashua retailers.

The 2009 Health & Wellness Fair marks the 4th anniversary for the event. Exhibitors will be on hand to provide information, health screenings, and demonstrations for kids, teens, families, boomers and seniors. There will also be a blood drive and varity of health and wellness products.

The Telegraph 2nd Annual Kid’s Fair celebrates being young and having fun! There will be live musical entertainment; face painting; a professional balloon artist; stage presentations, bounce houses and so much more. We will be pairing up with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua to bring you an afternoon of excitement. This is an event that both parents and children can enjoy. We will have vendors on hand that provide goods and services for your family.

To celebrate the 33rd Santa Fund Run, this year's race will include a 5k and 10k. The race benefits The Telegraph's Santa Fund which, with the help of the Salvation Army and Nashua Pastoral Care Center, gives money and gifts to needy families around the holidays. Racers collect pledges or donate a flat fee to The Santa Fund.

Help101 is an event to assist small businesses as well as private citizens who have questions and are looking for answers regarding their financial situation in 2009. There will have seminars scheduled aimed for small businesses in regards to how to best market their business inexpensively and effectively. There will also have members from SCORE offering free consultation to small business owners. For the private sector, hiring companies will be at the event accepting resumes for job openings and there will be professionals offering advice in a multitude of financial fields.

Grab your favorite four-legged friend and join us at Nashua Community College on May 30 for a day of fun with animals. We're pairing up with the Humane Society for Greater Nashua to bring you this exciting event. We'll have animal trainers, kennels, doggy spas, adoptions, demonstrations and shows. (We welcome dogs only but will have information and fun for any type of animal lover.)

Are you a car, truck or motorcycle enthusiast? Check out the Motor Mania car show on Saturday, June 6, 2009. This year, we're opening up the show to concept cars and motorcycles, as well as classic automobiles. There will be plenty of car-related vendors, prizes, food and fun. Registration is $10 and each person who register will receive a pair of tickets to an American Defenders baseball game. Proceeds will also benefit a local charity.

Thank you to the over 1,500 participants who celebrated New England's best wine and beer with us in the rain on Saturday, September 12! We had a great time and hope you did too.
Wicked Wine and Brew Fest is a unique tasting event that features New Hampshire and New England wineries and breweries. Local artisans and musicians will also be featured at the event. This all ages event benefits Meals on Wheels. The event will be held at Mel's Funway Park in Litchfield. Mel's is the perfect place for a fall event with its lush green grass and fun atmosphere. Mel's is a great venue for those with children of all ages with miniature golf, go karts and batting cages.
