Business People: Jennifer Cusato; Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce; Robin Violette; Mark Levesque; Ross LeBlanc; Tina-marie Legere and K. Brian McLaughlin
NASHUA – Jennifer Cusato has been named community relations director for the YMCA of Greater Nashua organization, which includes the new Nashua Y, Merrimack Y and Camp Sargent.
In this newly created position, she will provide leadership to the marketing and financial development staff to collectively accomplish the goals of the organization including maximizing the Y’s image and building more connections within the community.
In her most recent position with The PLUS Co., Cusato developed and executed a strategic marketing campaign as well as coordinated and oversaw Project SEARCH at St. Joseph Hospital. Prior to that, she was employed at New England College and Franklin Pierce Law Center. Cusato holds a master’s degree in management and strategic leadership.
Ross LeBlanc has joined CCS New England as sales representative and account manager.
LeBlanc brings 15 years of industry experience to the team at CCS New England’s Nashua headquarters. As a sales representative and account manager, he will be responsible for corporate accounts in New England and education accounts in Maine. Before joining CCS New England, LeBlanc worked at PC Connection where he was instrumental in generating new business opportunities. Additionally, he has worked at eCoast Sales Solutions and Western Sales and Marketing.
LeBlanc has several manufacturer trainings and certifications including VMware, Apple, HP and Cisco. He holds his bachelor of science degree from the University of New Hampshire.
Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce held its annual directors election, and as a result, the chamber announced that several business members were re-elected to the 2012 board of directors: Jerry Mayotte of Red Brick Clothing, Mike Falzone of Area News Group, Alvin Oasan of Enterprise Bank and Deborah Clement of RE/MAX Properties.
Continuing to serve on the 2012 GHCC board are Tim Malley of TJ Malley Electric, Steve Forkey of Web Action Group, Dr. Scott Szela of Chiropractic Works, Steve Flaherty of Sam’s Club, William Warnke of William Warnke CPA, Ryan Fragala of Financial Insurance Service, Police Chief Jason Lavoie of the Hudson Police Department, Fred Ramos of Showtime Computers, Ibo Yilmaz of Matibo’s Salon, and Marco Laferriere of St. Mary’s Bank.
At the January meeting of the GHCC board of directors, the directors met to elect officers for 2012, and Falzone was selected as president; Malley was selected to be executive vice president; Ramos will serve as first vice president; Warnke was elected to treasurer; and Clement was elected to serve as secretary.
Robin Violette has been hired as a commercial account manager at Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency Inc. of Nashua and Milford.
A property and casualty licensed producer, Violette brings 26 years of insurance experience to the agency. Before joining Eaton & Berube, Violette spent one year as an account executive at Norton Insurance Agency of New Hampshire in Portsmouth and the past three years as a commercial lines account representative at Infantine Insurance in Bedford.
Mark Levesque, photographic craftsman, CPP of Studio Mark Emile in Nashua has earned a master of photography degree from Professional Photographers of America. The degree was presented to Levesque by PPA President Don Dickson at the association’s annual convention held Jan. 15-17, in New Orleans. Levesque has met the standards of excellence set by the Professional Photographers of America. He has been awarded the master of photography degree in recognition of his superior photographic competence demonstrated through photographic print competition, advanced education and service to the profession.
Dawn Perry, of Nashua, has joined Sullivan Creative as its senior art director. Perry brings more than 20 years of experience in print and Web design and integrated marketing expertise.
Before joining Sullivan Creative, Perry was the creative director for FLIR Systems Inc. (Billerica, Mass.), design director at Warwick Mills (New Ipswich), graphic design and marketing programs manager for Spacetec IMC, Inc. (Lowell, Mass.). For these and other companies, she was responsible for managing and designing projects that included: logos, brochures and sales collateral, tradeshow graphics, Web sites, direct mail, presentations, ad campaigns and point-of-purchase packaging. She has also provided design services for companies such as IBM, HP and Home Depot.
Tina-marie Legere and K. Brian McLaughlin
Tina-marie Legere and K. Brian McLaughlin, business professionals and active members of their local communities, have been appointed to the Rivier College board of trustees.
Currently chief executive officer of Parkland Medical Center in Derry, Legere has more than 20 years experience in the health care industry, serving in a variety of administrative and executive positions. Before her service at Parkland Medical Center, she served in a number of vice presidential posts at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. She began her career in the social work setting, overseeing services for a number of local health care providers. Legere has also served on the boards of a number of civic and health care organizations. A Rivier alumna, she received an MBA from the college in 1996 and a certificate in healthcare administration in 1998. Legere also holds a master’s degree in social work administration from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in health and psychology from Bridgewater State College.
McLaughlin is the president and CEO of Granite Group Benefits LLC, the company he founded in 1992. He has been an insurance professional for more than two decades. McLaughlin is licensed as a property, casualty and employee benefits broker and serves on advisory boards for a number of insurance providers. McLaughlin also is dedicated to his local community, having been a leader in many organizations including the Goffstown Rotary Club, the Greater Manchester Red Cross and the New Hampshire Better Business Bureau. McLaughlin served seven years in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
