Business people: Heather Loisel; Lindsay D. Prussman; Armando G. Llorente; Robert C. Bartley

Heather Loisel

SkillSoft has announced the appointment of Heather Loisel as chief marketing officer.

A seasoned software marketing executive, Loisel brings more than 20 years of experience to SkillSoft. Prior to joining SkillSoft, Loisel was senior vice president of marketing for JDA Software. She also held vice president of marketing positions with SAP and PeopleSoft. Loisel will be responsible for defining and directing SkillSoft’s strategic positioning, go-to-market strategy, demand generation and management of all global marketing functions.

At JDA Software she was responsible for driving the marketing efforts for the worldwide supply chain management, merchandising and pricing solutions provider. Under her purview, JDA Marketing was awarded the 2011 Aberdeen Industry Excellence award for Marketing. She also was nominated as a finalist in the Marketing Visionary category of the 2011 Eloqua Markie Awards.

Lindsay D. Prussman

Dorland Health, a division of Access Intelligence, celebrated the industry’s leading healthcare providers during the 2011 People Awards ceremony that took place recently at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center was celebrated as having one of the winning entrants. Lindsay D. Prussman RN, BSN, CWCN, WOC, DAPWCA, the Wound/ Ostomy Coordinator at SNHMC, was the winning entrant for the category of “Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse.”

Prussman is an educator and mentor who was celebrated for her passionate leadership and an overall holistic approach to medicine. She performs inpatient consults and runs an outpatient wound clinic at SNHMC. She also educates staff, students, and other health-care providers through conferences and seminars. In addition to her role at SNHMC, she performs independent consulting and education through Andronaco Wound Solutions, of which she is the founder and owner.

Armando G. Llorente

Armando G. Llorente recently joined Clark & Lavey Benefits Solutions in Merrimack as vice president of human resources and HR practice leader. An award-winning human resources strategist with more than 20 years of Fortune 500 experience, Llorente will lead, and expand upon, Clark & Lavey’s delivery of HR consulting services, seminars, on- and off-line education efforts, and the company’s HR Boot Camp.

Llorente has global HR experience across five continents, at companies including Thermo Fisher Scientific, EMC and Osram Sylvania, a subsidiary of Siemens. His broad expertise encompasses organizational structure and effectiveness, training, talent management, mergers and acquisitions, employee relations and retention, strategic planning and metrics. He was most-recently at HRe-sources, a Boston-area human resources consulting practice.

During the course of his career, Llorente has earned many accolades, including a 2005 Luminary Award and, in 2008, recognition by The Boston Business Journal and El Planeta as one of 20 Hispanic executives making an impact in the Boston business community, in “Twenty on the Move.”

Llorente received a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and an master’s degree in human resources management from Plymouth State University. He is a member of the New England Human Resources Association.

Robert C. Bartley

Robert C. Bartley, a certified public accountant and certified financial planner, has been named to Medical Economics 2011 Best Financial Advisers for Doctors list. He has offices in Andover, Mass., and Bedford. Bartley is president of Bartley Financial Advisors, a firm that strives to help people make smart choices about their money so they can accomplish their goals for the reasons that are most important to them.

He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Association and the American Institute of CPAs.
