Highlights of products and services: Founded in 1991, Showtime was started as a computer hardware and software distributor that sold primarily to other retailers and at computer shows. Showtime Computers opened its first retail store in 1998 at 15 Derry St., Hudson. Today, we continue to carry a large in-stock supply of computer hardware and other hard to find accessories and cables. We also have full service in-house repair department servicing all makes and models of computers and laptops. We distribute a line of more than 5,000 quality products from the industry’s leading manufacturers. Showtime offers system configuration services and private label computer systems for resale to other retailers and wholesalers. We can handle large volume jobs at a time.

What’s the biggest challenge facing your type of business, and how are you approaching it? Showtime offers system configuration services and is privately labeling its own line of computers. These are offered to resellers who lack the necessary time or space to warehouse, assemble and test fully configured systems for sales to their end customers. Showtime provides computer products system integration as a customer service and a way for its vendor partners to offer their products solely for integration purpose. The company sells approximately 100 systems a month in standard and custom.
