Nashua’s Adult Learning Center to hold “Non-Techies” bootcamp in March

NASHUA – The Adult Learning Center of Nashua will again offer “Creating Websites with WordPress: A Bootcamp for Non-Techies,” in March.

The course is designed to enable non-programmers to create polished, professional-looking websites and blogs – without any programming required – using Wordpress.

Starting Tuesday, March 6, the class will be held at the Adult Learning Center Computer Lab, 4 Lake St., for five consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30. Tuition for the course is $125 and the class is presented in a combined lecture/lab format.

Each student will build a working, multi-page website for their business, their not-for-profit organization or personal use.

The instructor for the class is Jonathan May, president of YourPresenceOnTheWeb.com, an e-marketing consultant business based in Amherst. May is a WordPress trainer with more than 30 years of consulting and private industry experience designing and delivering software solutions for organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.

For more details and to register for the class online, visit http://yourpresenceontheweb.com or contact Diana Owen, Adult Education Program Coordinator, at dowen@adultlearningcenter.org or 882-9080, ext. 207.
