Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce receives Seven Seals Award by Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR)

AMHERST – The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce received the Seven Seals Award from the New Hampshire Committee for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve at its annual awards luncheon on April 26 in recognition of the chamber’s dedication to supporting veteran’s organizations with an annual auction fundraiser. To date, the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce has raised $100,000 over seven years to benefit organizations such as Veterans First, Veterans Count and the Chaplain’s Emergency Relief Fund.

The Seven Seals Award is given annually by ESGR to employers, volunteers or any person or entity that significantly advances the ESGR mission of promoting a cooperative culture of employer support for the National Guard and Reserve service. ESGR works with employers of National Guard service members to assist in conflicts that arise from an employee’s military commitment. ...

The award was presented by Dave Quinn, NH-ESGR chairman; Gov.Maggie Hassan; Ted Fessel, ESGR Deputy Executive Director, and Major General William N. Reddell, the NH adjutant general.
