It’s time to run or just walk for Santa! The 32nd Annual Santa Fund Run will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008, 10:00 AM at Nashua High School South.
All funds raised benefit The Santa Fund and the race is the official kick-off to the toy drive. Log onto nashuatelegraph.com/santafund to print out a race application or register online. You can also pick up an entry form at The Telegraph offices in Hudson or Nashua. The first 250 entries will receive race t-shirts and all participants will be entered in a race day raffle with great prizes.
Schools can register as a team and the school that raises the most money will receive $200! Parents and staff members are also encouraged to participate on the school’s behalf. It’s a great way to support a worthy cause and participate in a fun event.
This wheel-measured 5K course includes paved trails and roads starting and finishing at Nashua High School South, 36 Riverside Dr., Nashua, NH. This is a USATF sanctioned event with a wide-start course and strict traffic control. Parking and bathroom facilities are available, but no changing facilities are provided. Please come ready to run or walk.
The Santa Fund was started 46 years ago by the publisher of the Nashua Telegraph to give area needy children a happy holiday. Each year since, The Santa Fund has grown due to the generous donations of area residents. In 2007, hundreds of new toys, new clothing and over $106,000 was raised and shared with families in our communities.
Please help us make the 2008 holiday season a brighter one for the less fortunate families in our community.
