Am. Defenders 8, Jackals 6

LITTLE FALLS, N.J. – New Hampshire held on late to beat New Jersey, 8-6, and take three of four in the series.

American Defenders starting pitcher Nick Asselin picked up the win to improve his record to 8-6

on the season. New Hampshire reliever Adam Piechowski took over with runners on second and third and one out in the ninth inning, but held on to the two-run lead to earn his first save of the year.

American Defenders first baseman Jerod Edmondson led the way at the plate. He was 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBIs.
