Skyhawks 11, Defenders 3
NASHUA - The American Defenders of New Hampshire fell, to the Sussex Skyhawks, 11-3, on Sunday evening at Holman Stadium.
Sussex righty Kyle Ruwe (6-4) earned the win after tossing a complete game, allowing three runs, on eight hits, with one walk and three strikeouts.
New Hampshire’s Angel Molina belted his ninth home run of the year, a solo shot in the fourth inning. The Defenders also received RBIs from first baseman Jerod Edmondson and shortstop Matt Nandin. Second baseman Boomer Berry went 1-for-3 on the night with a run scored in the eighth inning.
