Autopsies confirm murder-suicide
CONCORD (AP) – Autopsy results have confirmed that the deaths of a Derry couple were a murder-suicide.
The results released Tuesday by the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office say that 76-year-old Claude Roberts died of a gunshot wound to the head, which was ruled a suicide. Investigators said 73-year-old Judith Roberts died of a gunshot wound to the head in what was ruled a homicide.
Investigators said the two were found in their home on Sunday. Claude Roberts was dead, but Judith Roberts was still alive. She died later in a Massachusetts hospital. The attorney general’s office says no note was left.
Friends said that the two had been suffering from medical problems.
The attorney general’s office says the investigation is ongoing.
