HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) — Police in Hooksett say a medical condition may have played a part in a head-on collision that killed two people.
Lt. Troy Cline says the driver of a pickup truck southbound on Route 3A Wednesday apparently slumped over the wheel seconds before the vehicle crossed the center line and slammed into a Jeep Cherokee. The man driving the pickup, who was in his 70s, and a female passenger both died in the wreck. Their identities haven’t been released.
The New Hampshire Union Leader reports that the driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries.
