Disturbance in Nashua leads to 2 unrelated arrests
Things that go bump in the night led police to two unrelated arrests Friday.
Police were called to the area of 10 Arlington St. at about 3:10 a.m. Friday on reports of a loud noise, Detective Lt. George McCarthy said.
Officers spoke with the person who had called, who said there had been a disturbance but the people involved had all dispersed, police said. Police arrested two residents at that address for unrelated offenses, however.
Speaking with William Bardas, 49, of Apt. 5 at that address, police noted an expandable baton in plain sight by the front door, and on realizing that Bardas had a prior felony conviction, officers arrested him for being a felon in possession of a deadly weapon. He was held and arraigned later Friday in Nashua District Court. Police also spoke with Jennifer Farry, 41, of Apt. 4, and learned she had a pending warrant in Maine on a charge of “terrorizing.” She was arrested and held pending arraignment on a fugitive charge, police said.
