Milford woman killed in crash

NASHUA - A Milford woman was killed when her car crashed into the rear of a tractor trailer truck on Amherst Street Wednesday night, police report.

Michelle Boehm, 48, was heading west when her Mitsubishi Eclipse hit the truck, which was at a standstill in the left turn lane on Amherst Street, near Celina Avenue, shortly before 11 p.m., Lt. John Fisher reports.

Boehm’s car then hit a Nissan Altima, operated by Frank Morales, 21, of Nashua. Police did not mention whether Morales or the truck’s driver Stanley Balcewicz, 57, of Worcester, Mass., were injured.

Police are still investigating, and have yet to determine what caused the crash. Westbound lanes remained closed for several hours after the crash.
