Man charged with threatening sister’s baby
A local man was charged with criminal threatening last week after he allegedly told his sister that he was going to kill her baby.
William R. Meadows, 21, of 104A Amherst St., Milford, was arrested on a warrant Oct. 26 after reportedly visiting his sister, Chelene Parker, in a neighboring apartment.
Parker said that as she was walking him out of the house, he grabbed a knife and said he was going to kill her 2-month-old baby, police said.
He was transported to Valley Street jail in Manchester in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
Police Chief Fred Douglas said Parker told police that her brother does not seem to understand the difference between right and wrong.
Meadows is also currently serving a six-month suspended sentence for pulling a knife on his sister in September.
