Send Books to Soldiers on Veterans Day

NASHUA – Bring your gently used books and DVDs to the Veterans Day parade Wednesday in Nashua to send to U.S. soldiers overseas. Staff of the Nashua Public Library will collect them from you as they march in the parade Wednesday. The parade steps off from Holman Stadium at 10:30 a.m. and heads south on Main Street to Lake Street.

If you want to donate but can’t make it to the parade, place your books and DVDs in a bag marked “Books for Soldiers” and bring them to the library by Thursday, Nov. 12, at 9 p.m.
