Artsy? Floating Gallery seeking artist submissions
Published: Thursday, November 5, 2009
NASHUA – Local artists are invited to participate in the Floating Gallery’s first exhibition on Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Courtyard Marriot in Nashua. All mediums are welcome, and artists will have the option to sell their work.
The Floating Gallery is a not-for-profit organization connecting local artists and businesses with their community. Gallery venues are non-specific, and events can happen just about anywhere: town parks, downtown businesses or at someone’s home.
There is no fee for artists to participate, but artists are asked to donate a portion of any of their profits from sales to a charity of their choice.
The Dec. 6 event will offer 2,800 square feet of exhibit space, live music from local musicians and a cash bar. The event will run from 6-9 p.m.
For more information and to apply for inclusion in this event, visit floatinggallery.ning.com, e-mail thefloatinggallery@gmail.com, join the group on Facebook and follow @floatinggallery on Twitter.
Deadline for applications is Sunday, Nov. 22.
